Robert J. Sommer, CPA

Mr. Sommer, a graduate of Canisius College, has been with the firm for over 29 years. He was admitted to the partnership in 1985. He is the partner in charge of tax services, including international tax, for our firm. Mr. Sommer has been a frequent speaker at the Annual Institute on Taxation, as well as having delivered a presentation regarding US tax implications of Canadians with US income at a conference of Canadian Chartered Accountants.

In addition to his membership in the AICPA and NYSSCPA, he is a member of the Tax Division of the AICPA and serves on the tax committee of the Buffalo Chapter of NYSSCPA. He is also on the Council on Accountancy at Canisius College.
