BS&P Named a Best Company to Work for in New York State
Brock, Schechter & Polakoff, LLP was recently named as one of the Best Companies to Work for in New York for 2007.
The New York State Society for Human Resource Management and Best Companies Group, an independent company managing Best Places to Work programs in many states around the country, formed a partnership to launch the prestigious awards program in the state of New York.
This statewide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in New York, benefiting the state's economy, its workforce and businesses. The Best Companies to Work for in New York list is made up of 30 companies split into two groups: 15 medium-sized companies (25-250 employees) and 15 large-sized companies (251 or more employees). Brock, Schechter and Polakoff, LLP has been named one of the Best Companies to Work for in New York in the medium category.
Companies from accross the state entered the two-part process to determine the 30 Best Companies to Work for in New York. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.
