We are looking for experienced accountants in Tax and/or Audit.

Engagements for Auditors include:

  • Assist the supervisor of an engagement wherever possible
  • Delegate appropriate level of work to staff and communicate such to the engagement supervisor
  • Begin acquiring the skills necessary to develop quality client relationships and loyalty
  • Assist the supervisor of an engagement wherever possible
  • Delegate appropriate level of work to staff and communicate such to the engagement supervisor
  • Begin acquiring the skills necessary to develop quality client relationships and loyalty
  • Assume increased responsibility for auditing and accounting engagements
  • Properly follow established Firm policies and procedures related to job management
  • Perform required planning procedures for all reviews, compilations and small to medium audits, including analyzing internal controls
  • Understand risk assessment concepts and their relation to audit procedures
  • Work on more complex areas of auditing and accounting engagements
  • Train and supervise staff accountants assigned to the engagement

Engagements for Experienced Accountants include:

  • Assume full responsibility for engagements including preparing and monitoring of programs and time budgets that are tailored specifically to the needs of each client
  • Review and analyze client internal controls
  • Prepare more complex tax returns – corporations, including S Corps, partnerships, individuals, fiduciary, non-profit and retirement plans
  • Review basic tax returns and extensions

Requirements:

Must have at least two years’ experience in either public or private accounting

Bachelor degree or higher in accounting

CPA preferred. If not certified, must work toward receiving CPA certification
