Taylor Clark has joined the firm as a Senior Accountant. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and MBA in Finance, both from Marywood University. Before joining BS&P, Taylor worked in both public and private accounting working in tax and audits. Taylor is a member of The New York State Society of CPAs and the Emerging Leaders Society of the United Way. Taylor was recognized in 2020 as Volunteer of the Year for all of her work with the United Way.
Jacob Hooton has officially joined BS&P as a full-time staff accountant after interning with us for the majority of 2021. Jacob graduated with his Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Buffalo in May of 2022. Jacob will be working on a variety of accounting and taxation engagements including the preparation of corporate, individual, and estate income tax returns while also studying for his CPA license.
Tessa Monter has joined the firm as an In-Charge Senior Accountant. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and MBA with a concentration in Marketing from Walsh University. Before joining BS&P, Tessa worked in public accounting for five years at Hill, Barth, and King, LLC. Tessa is also actively working towards obtaining her CPA license.
Laura Barkewitz has joined the firm as Tax Associate. Before joining BS&P, Laura had fourteen years of tax preparation experience, eleven of which were in a supervisory role. Most recently Laura was an office manager for a local law office. Outside of the office, Laura is on the advisory board for SonRay’s Ministries.
